Gav ‘the Chav’ – cyberspace star and all-round top bloke – has finally arrived at Splat! HQ! It’s taken us about eight months to finally make it happen – but here he is! We filmed a trilogy of shows (also featuring Lee and Scott) a few weekends ago, and Gav’s show is the first to see its release. All the shows are pretty special, and each game sees a genuine contest between at least two of the guys – and all but the sketch in Gav’s show sees at least one of the other fellas getting a splatting too! - The Splat! Interview – An interview with a difference (and quite a lot of porridge)! We filmed all three interviews consecutively (this was the second in front of the camera), so Gav and Scott already have a generous helping of slimy raw eggs all over them from the off! It wasn’t long before Gav found himself getting a porridge shampoo, to make this our messiest interview yet!
- Gunge The Geek – “Doctor Who” fan Gav has his bravery tested in a game that also tests his knowledge of the classic BBCtv series. Will he admit to knowing the answers that only a true geek would know?!? During the main body of the game, question master Lee gets almost as much gunge aimed at him as Gav does – but will everyone’s favourite wide-boy be able to answer the final killer question and exterminate a barrage of the slimy stuff?
- A Chav Is Arrested – Something strange has happened. A supermarket has been broken into, and an unwelcome Chav-shaped intruder has been seen on CCTV doing odd things with food. PC Scott Green thinks he’s got his man when he brings a reluctant Gav in for questioning – but how will PCs Scott and Lee make sure that Gav gets his just desserts (boom boom!) and will soon be doing porridge (it’s the way I tell ‘em!)?
- I’ve Gotta Get Gunged: Double Trouble! – For the first time, this game sees two of our guys going head-to-head to see which one can make themselves the messiest. Referee Lee has the deciding vote, and the winner can choose who he wants to see in the gunge tank. I didn’t like the way Gav looked at me at that point! It’s southerner Gav and the sweet stuff (semolina, custard, rice pudding, trifle, and a crotch full of freezing ice cream) Vs northerner Scott and the savouries (baked beans, eggs, mushy peas, gravy, spaghetti, and legs covered in vegetable soup). The north/south divide has never been so slimy and smelly!
