Ofcom Online Safety Bill Compliance

Ofcom Online Safety Bill Compliance

The UK online safety bill has now passed royal assent which means it has now become law in the UK.

As we are UK based business and a business serving the UK market, we have to comply with the new online safety bill. All businesses, regardless of their location will have to comply with the UK online safety bill if they serve UK customers.

Ofcom is the authority that will enforce the new laws and regulations outlined in the Online Safety Bill. Ofcom are now rolling out their guidance to businesses which will cover best practices to comply with the Online Safety Bill. We will be reviewing all the guidance as it is released and ensuring that we remain complaint with all relevant laws and regulations outlined in the Online Safety Bill.

Rollout of the new laws and regulations outlined in the Online Safety Bill are starting now but will take a number of years to complete.

We will update this page when we have completed our audit of the Online Safety Bill compliance and guidance and announce any changes we need to make to comply with the online safety bill.

The safety of our users and customers has always been a priority for us and we welcome the guidance being issued by Ofcom.

We will update this page with further updates in due course.
